Kelly began her career at Kernersville Veterinary Hospital in 1978. She has worked in all areas of the hospital and became the hospital manager in 2018.  Kelly has two children and two granddaughters. She and her husband Alan raise and show Black and Tan Coonhounds and French Bulldogs.
